Hi Lauren,

Thank you for the kind words.
Yes, this image is available for licensing through commercial channels as well but it is always nice to know what businesses around the world have been using it for.
Best,
Leo

Hello Little Lion,

I did not leave a thank you note when I downloaded your gorgeous Peacock Vanity as I do not want that website having any of my details, however I love it and think it's gorgeous. I am going to re-organise/recolour it and get it printed as a house-warming gift for my sister who is obsessed with bird illustrations.

Also there is a company in Bath (UK) selling a book of crosswords with this pattern in yellow, with spot gloss UV, on it for £2. Thought you'd like to know...!

Regards, Lauren.

First of all your work is lovely! I really have enjoyed looking through your site and blog. I did download Peacock Vanity at one point so thank you for making it available.

I am sorry that you have had such a bad time with copy-cats. A few designers who I follow on Twitter have mentioned the same kind of thing multiple times in the past week, so it seems that this problem is very prevalent. It is unfortunate that people choose to use the artwork of others and claim it as their own.

I wonder what we can really do as designers to stop this without copyrighting every piece of work. Once content is released to the web, it is almost impossible to control it. When I search the internet for resources, it makes me wonder if the images I have purchased in the past really belonged to those selling them. The thought of that makes me not want to ever buy stock and just take the time to create images on my own.
